According to the requirements of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association on the issuance of the "2017 Second Batch of Engineering Construction Association Standards Formulation and Revision Plan" (Jian Biao Xie Zi [2017] No. 031), the "Technical Regulations for the Application of Prefabricated Thermal Insulation Decorative Composite Exterior Walls" "Included in the formulation plan, drafted and compiled by the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. together as the chief editor unit, together with related units. Emphasized the importance of the "Technical Regulations for the Application of Prefabricated Thermal Insulation and Decoration Combined Exterior Walls" to the 13th Five-Year Key R&D project "Quality Acceptance and Testing Technology of the Ministry of Construction".

On August 15, 2018, the third meeting of the preparation group of the "Technical Regulations for Prefabricated Thermal Insulation and Decoration Combined Exterior Wall Application" was officially held in Nanjing.
